General Business Terms of MCN AGThe following General Business Terms apply to the user of the Internet of MCN AG, Nuremberg, as well as to all resulting informal and contractual relations with users and clients.
MCN AG acknowledges that the Data Protection Regulations have to be observed. This declaration informs you which steps we are taking to ensure that your rights are maintained.
We consider personal data to be your details recorded in our forms, e.g. your e-mail address, all application and confirmation information and the postal address. By using our page and with the registration for one of our events, you give your consent that these personal data are collected and stored in our databases.
We will enforce commensurate precautionary measures to ensure the safety, intactness and confidentiality of your personal data.
These data are used by MCN AG to provide the offers that you apply from us. The data are used at the given occasion to inform you of forthcoming events that are similar to the ones for which you have registered with us. By using the offers from MCN AG you agree that your address is used in this form.
The protection of person-related data is of great concern to MCN AG. Consequently, you must know which data we store and for what purpose they are used. As a company under private law we are subject to the stipulations of the Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG). We have taken technical and organisational measures which will ensure that the data protection regulations are observed both by us and by external service providers commissioned by us.
All data entered by clients (address data, credit card data, account information, etc.) are automatically encrypted (SSL, 128-bit) as they are transmitted to MCN AG.
At the end of your booking you can print out a registration protocol of the booking operation. We will instantly send you a booking confirmation by e-mail that is electronically generated , but is still momentarily non-binding. A binding confirmation of reservation/invoice will be sent in writing through the postal service.
If you have not received a reservation confirmation within 3 weeks, then please contact us directly (tel/fax/e-mail).
The participant herewith agrees that the supplied data relating to his/her person are stored by way of data processing under due consideration of the Data Protection Law. This consent can be withdrawn at any time for future effectiveness.
MCN AG is not responsible for the contents of abstracts. Compensation for incorrect or incomplete publications, as well as impairments caused by EDP technical influences, are herewith excluded.
Limited participation numbers are due to the available room capacities of the assigned halls/rooms. With the exception of separately booked seminars/workshops/courses, etc., and in spite of careful planning efforts, we cannot exclude the possibility that individual events open to permanent-card or day-card holders become fully booked. There is no legal right to attendance, nor is there any entitlement to any reduction of participation fees!
In the event that parts of these Business Terms become ineffective, then this will not affect the effectiveness of the Contract or the remaining business terms.
